How should I be taxed on the sale of my shares of a business partnership?

I recently sold my half of a LLC-Partnership. The business is paying me over 5 years the equivalent to one year of my work. What is the best way for me to declare this "income" to the IRS when the money barely makes up for my lost income during the four years I spent starting the company? In this instance an new partner stepped in at 40%, and the original partner at 60%. The business is paying me from its accounts, and reducing part of the new partners pay until I am compensated. Advice for the disaster that is graduating college?

I'm 22, graduated college about a month ago and have come to realize quickly that I am royally screwed. I have a 3.85 but in a worthless history degree. I'm great at writing, ysis, and research but suck at anything numbers related. Even the jobs that do involve what I am good at want 3 years or more of very specific experience. The only jobs I feel like I could even have a shot at pay around 24k in places like LA and NYC. I'm not all that fond of her talking to herself so blatantly as if she is speaking out loud or having a conversation. It isn't subtle or smooth and it breaks up the flow of the writing. In fact it distances me from the character because I find it more and more annoying. By the time she meets up with the dog I'm so sick of her narrating the story in her head that I gave up. Granted not every reader will be so harsh. Some may enjoy it. I happen to think it is too blunt. It doesn't read well. Hey guys I need some help. My parents made me play basketball and baseball since I was like 5, and now I'm 14. I started snowboarding and I love it. You get to do what you want when you want and you don't have to listen to coaches or anything. I love it! So I stopped playing baseball last year because I wasn't very good and because of the coaches. I don't like basketball AT ALL, but I LOVE snowboarding. Shes now really confident not over powering and a little nerveous at times but shes really happy. also the other reason you should take her to the vet is to get her checked out, if your frined dint have time just to train her she definatly wouldnt have time to take her to the vet. Untill you can take her to the vet try and seperate the dogs as much as possible and spend as much time with her as possible by yourslef though. and please dont get rid of that dog.

act disrespectful to her family when her boyfriend is around? My younger sister is 17, and whenever her boyfriend is over or around, she talk to us with a completely different tone, like she doesn't care about what we are saying at all. She will ignore a lot of what we are saying and give her boyfriend her undivided attention. Also, whenever he is over, he never eats what our mom cooks for dinner, and because of this, my sister doesn't either. Even if it is a dish she really likes. They are always engaging in PDA and sometimes they will stay in the room that she and I share for hours with the door closed. And my mom lets this happen. When my dad is home they can't close the door, but it might as well be since its only cracked and no one bothers them. She seems to have absolutely no regard for anyone else's feelings except for hers and her bf's when he is around. I admit that I haven't spoke my mind much about her behavior, but it seems like that would be my parents' job? I dunno. I guess this is normal for immature teenagers, but what do you all think? What kind of forward facing car seat would you recommend?

I am currently expecting #2 and in need of a new car, since the one I drive now will be impossible to have a infant seat and a rear facing car seat in without me climbing through the trunk to buckle my kids in. When we go car shopping I plan on bringing the infant seat, the rear facing car seat, and a forward facing car seat to see how they all fit. My husband figures we might as well buy the forward facing for car shopping. Anyway I want it to have the 5 point harness and be reasonably priced. Definitely put those things down on your applications unless you have something better. On the form they give you a finite number of slots. Your gpa is pretty okay for penn state, its not that selective a college especially if you in like in PA. Whats your SAT like? As long as its around ~1800 you should definitely get in and even if its a little lower you'll still have a good chance it you really focus on your admissions essay. Good luck, don't stress out too much!

Ok so im a 16 year old guy that has panic attacks. When i was young (about 8~) i had a six pack, the i moved to the united states, on the first day of school i didnt know any english so everyone was making fun of me, but i didnt care, because i knew they were just little douche bags. When my homeroom teacher showed me around the school and tried meeting me to all the teachers i wanted to cry because i didnt know how to say anything and everyone was pretty much making fun of me ( i was about 9 back then) so then i gained a lot of weight, people called me fat, then i lost a lot of weight (was almost annorexic) and now im working out (taking care of myself) but im ugly as **** because of all the "unknown" stress. 2 days ago i had confirmation, everyone was in a room, waiting for 30~minutes, my face was soo red that it wasn't even funny...when i dont know anybody and im alone with them i get really shy for some reason, and that really pisses me off because i cant control it, also when im presenting a project in front of my cl, my face gets so red that i just wanna punch myself as hard as i can in my face because like i said before it pisses me off, i dont wanna be shy, im not a shy person, at least i wasnt back then...so my question is how can i avoid getting panic attacks? are there any pills for that or excersies or ANYTHING....i will do it, thanks for everything guys, cya

How do I keep my dog alive?

I don't want to say anything gory, so basically my dog got chewed up by another dog and we took her to a nearby (people) clinic to get her stitches because the vet is too far away. We have her on antibiotics now but she still throws up all the food and water she ingests. That's probably because of bacteria in her stomach. Is there anything our family can do for her? Having boy problems!!!?

So one night, my sister was talking to this boy on fb...lets call him....uh, bob. and she brought me up in their conversation. and bob said that he was sad because he thought that i had no "attraction" towards him. (but he's the really flirty type..) like, he always says stuff like "you lookin mighty fine today" or "heyy" and wink or something ( i could never tell if he was serious or not...?) and she urged him to text me, and he did. and we stayed up til around 2 just texting each other. and this continued for about a week or so... and i started liking him.and we would text each other til it was pretty late at night. i even stayed up til 5 in the morning sometimes... but anyway, so we texted each other everyday for about 3 weeks, and he would come over sometimes, i would ask him to come jogging with me, or play volleyball, and he came over and brought me ice cream when my dog died. and we continued texting each other for a while..... and he started sending me these really pervy texts..haha.. and he would always say "come snuggle with me!" or "come sleep with me!" or "if you dont put clothes on tonight... ill run up and sneak in your window!" (his house is just down the street) haha and stuff a lot worse that im too embarred to write.. :) .... and i start thinking that he likes me of course, and so i told him that i like him...(ughhh big mistake...) and he wouldnt tell me if he liked me.(by this point, i REALLY like him, and he's on my mind, i would say, about 90% of the day..) i asked if he liked me , and he just said "thats my secret!" so then i didnt text him for like.. a week or so, because i just got really busy with school all of the sudden.. and then my sister (who told him to text me in the first place) tells me that he texted her, and said "your sisters creeping on me! like shes cool and all, but im not like.. in love with her.." and she told me that he was a little freaked out because i liked him..? and she tells me "say that you only want to be friends! only friends!" and i did... and he didnt take it too well. and he knew i was lying (about only wanting to be friends) and said i was "making our relationship awkward." and we dont talk for about a week. then, at a dodgeball game, he comes up to me, and says that he is sorry for being a jerk. and i talked with him a little after the game, and we were friends again. that was a month ago. now, im vacationing in norway with my parents. and "bob" hasnt really even contacted me this whole time. And its pretty sad, because i know that he doesnt like me.... but i just CAN NOT stop thinking about him! he's still on my mind almost the whole friggin day! I was very sick with bronchitis or something with my last pregnancy. It got so bad they had to get me an inhaler and send me to a pulmonary specialist as it lingered for soooo long and would not clear up with antibiotics. To help with the cough, my OB told me I could take Dayquil (NO Nyquil though). To be zen and relaxing, you need to seriously de-clutter so your mind is not on all the stuff you see in the room. Whether it is in a closed cabinet, drawers, closet, or baskets/boxes under the bed - remove almost everything and leave out only a few basic items. Like on the bed side table - only a lamp and a vase with a single flower. On the bed - one or two colors - simple - and MAYBE one simple calming print pillow. I'd use a black platform bed with white linens and a pale green or blue comforter. The patio door should also be covered with some filmy green/blue sheers. Maybe a large bamboo pole for the curtain rod. The white walls are ok - use only a few simple pieces of art. For instance six or nine simple black and white prints framed with white mats and the same black frames. Displayed in a measured grid on one wall. On another wall - three pieces that "go together" but are not the same. Like one large but simple zen-feeling collage with a few colors including your main bed color, and two smaller items with similar images.

Then I started getting in to craps and blackjack and moving up into higher stakes poker. before I knew it I was busted. So one night i had decided to start over grinding I had 10 dollars on my online poker sites account (orginally I had turned a 50 dollar deposit into 3k.) so I figured I could turn that 10 dollars into some money and id just be more careful this time around not get so over my head... Well then I clicked on the deposit on just to see what would happen.. to make a long story short. There are a few online poker sites who just give you the money as soon as you ask for it and it still takes 7-10 business days to clear the bank... so me thinking omg I can just get the money and win with it then give it back I started doing this... But I was pressured to play at hgher stakes because of my timeline... so now here i am 5k in the hole with 4 different poker sites 2 overdrawn bank accounts. one -600 and the other -434 (They started rejecting the E-checks.) and I have no idea what to do with my future.. I dont know how I got this bad, I was always a great student and hard-worker in high school and now in college but throughout this experience for the first time i dropped some cles been slacking off at work and I just dont know what to do anymore... hi, i have a leaky rear seal in my 66 fury 3 the motor is a 2001 dodge 360 crate motor, came Straight from factory motor has less than 500 miles, i was told that the seal is leaking do to not being driven and dried up. I'm a 14 and a half year old guy and me and my friends just finished year 9. To celebrate we decided to go to the movies. (Harry potter! XD) anyway... We were about half way through the film and I turned to my friend to comment on a funny reference in the movie, only to notice that he was practically eating his new girlfriends face. This happened a lot during the movie, which I am fine with. Only, after all the hi-fives and bad puns I started felling sad/jealous... Me being one of the smarter people in school doesn't help me either because their are only two girls that I enjoy socializing with because a lot of the other girls in my year just take one look at me rule me out completely. She doesn't want to date anyone though, she says it is because she thinks year nine is too young. So, for this person, Church isn't about belief anymore, but has become kind of like signing your kids up with the Boy Scouts or some other morality-focused social organization.
