Can someone translate this for me and tell me if there is any mistakes?

I don't know for sure about any mistakes but what this letter is basically saying is that the past week, this person and the family celebrated "Day of the dead" as it is a celebration in Mexico for loved ones who ped away. The foods consist of cakes, pies and candy and the favorite part is dancing. I am not sure about the last sentence but it is something about also visiting the cemetaries where the loved ones are buried. And a much celebrated day.
