Advice for the disaster that is graduating college?

I'm 22, graduated college about a month ago and have come to realize quickly that I am royally screwed. I have a 3.85 but in a worthless history degree. I'm great at writing, ysis, and research but suck at anything numbers related. Even the jobs that do involve what I am good at want 3 years or more of very specific experience. The only jobs I feel like I could even have a shot at pay around 24k in places like LA and NYC. I am applying for jobs but I have never once felt like I was living up to what they wanted on the "qualifications" section. On top of all of my career woes I now have nowhere to meet girls because I'm not in cl anymore. What the hell should I do with my life? Seriously considering joining the Army just out of desperation only 1 month in to this misery.
