I just made a lime curd tart, and it required a teaspoon of gelatin which I mixed into the curd over a double boiler. I don't know if I used too much gelatin or not enough lime but the mixture smells of gelatin, which to me is really offputting! it is in the fridge setting now, will it still smell like gelatin when it comes out? will it be okay? will it taste like gelatin?
