How do I keep my dog alive?

I don't want to say anything gory, so basically my dog got chewed up by another dog and we took her to a nearby (people) clinic to get her stitches because the vet is too far away. We have her on antibiotics now but she still throws up all the food and water she ingests. That's probably because of bacteria in her stomach. Is there anything our family can do for her? We did take her to the vet after she got patched up.
