Are there any Christians who don't believe that God exists, but view Religion as a club and a useful fiction?

If you are raising a family, maybe you think religion will be good for the kids, so you go to church -- but you yourself don't really think God exists. That's what I mean by Religion being a useful fiction. Even if it is not true, a parent might still find it useful for their kids to be part of that club. Kind of like an adolescent/adult extension of Santa Claus warning children to be good lest they receive coal in their stockings. You might think it would be good to have your kids believe in God although you know you don't. Then you start developing social relationships at Church. So, for this person, Church isn't about belief anymore, but has become kind of like signing your kids up with the Boy Scouts or some other morality-focused social organization. Are there any Christians like this?
